This lucky family won my “100 Likers” competition on Facebook, and I was so pleased they did. It’s not often you get to photograph such a wonderful group of people! We went to the Japanese Gardens, which is so beautiful at this time of year with Autumn colour. The aim for the session was to get a whole family photo-with everyone loooking and smiling- very tricky with such a large family. But they were a pleasure to work with, and really made my job so easy!

The great thing about the Japanese Gardens is the versatility…there are so many different locations and backdrops for photos. I just love it there!

The younger half of the family ran to the other side of the bridge, and we got this great impromptu photo. I really love this shot!

Lining up eleven people for a shot this way was a little challenging, but we got it in the end…

We had some fun here with funny faces…I love all the different expressions!

I’m so pleased I was able to get just what this family wanted- a whole family shot! Thank you for a fun afternoon!
