This week’s feature for Mums on Mondays is Milk Giftware at Highfields. Milk Giftware started in November 2009 in the beautiful Abbie Lane Arts and Crafts Village in Highfields. Nettie (the lovely owner) wanted to created a gift shop that had something for everyone in the family- Men, Infants, Ladies, Kids….that’s how the name came about. They are open 7 days a week: Monday 9-2pm; Tuesday-Sunday 9-4:30pm. Phone (07) 46 154 111.

Inside MILK giftware you will hopefully find lots of different, quirky, colourful and downright cute bits and pieces. They offer an 8 week layby service and are always happy to order special items in from the huge Bobble Art and Penny Scallan ranges if they don’t have them in stock. They also offer free gift wrapping for any purchase.
Their party ware section continues to expand each month, and they have great fun helping people choose what they need for birthday parties, engagment parties, christenings and baby showers.
The Sparkle T wooden tea sets are just fabulous and just the right size for that special tea party for littlies.
They have a huge range of the delightful Lily and George soft toys for babies and children, as well as Oobi bibs, hats and scarves.
The Amber necklaces are very popular and Nettie has had many a frantic parent rushing in to replace one if they have lost the original, (and don’t want another sleepless night for the family!)
The Aussie Tin Signs always give their customer a giggle and often bring back fond memories.
Mums and Dads aren’t forgotten, with plenty of beautiful and timeless gifts for everyone!
