This amazing family was gifted their session as a special way of marking their daughter’s first birthday- what a perfect way to remember the way she is at this age! Miss 1 is such a little personality…and quick on her feet! I’m glad I wore my running shoes that day. This whole family has such a beautiful soul- such gentle, loving people. We met at the Newtown State Rose Garden in Toowoomba, and enjoyed the most beautiful golden light (even better after our first session was cancelled due to bad weather).

It’s amazing how expressive a one-year-old can be!

Everyone had fun with the bubbles, although Little Miss One preferred to try and eat them!

I thought a story might be a good photo opportunity….it kept her in one place for a short time!

Right at the end of the session we spotted a kookaburra sitting on top on one of the archways…I didn’t dare move closer to photograph it   thought I might scare it off. Little Miss One loves birds- especially those on In The Night Garden. She was entranced!

Thank you for letting me capture some special memories of your beautiful family- I came away from this session with an aching face from smiling so much!
